Accurately and clearly sketch the field to clearly convey information for fabrication. Collaborate with the team and foster a positive work environment. Initiate, develop, and maintain customer relationships. Demonstrate strategic thinking. Work independently and take ownership of projects. Ability to interact respectfully with other employees, professional staff, and/or external contacts to offer ideas, identify issues, obtain information, or deliver services. Demonstrate a positive attitude and respond to requests promptly. Exhibit excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills. AutoCAD, CRM, and Microsoft Suite knowledge preferred. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field required. At least 2-3 years of technical sales experience in manufacturing is required. Knowledge and understanding of LN2 piping and dosing systems, and their application in the industries we serve (e.g., food and beverage, pharmaceutical, semiconductor). ## Description A VBC Application Engineer is a technical sales specialist and the primary point of contact for customers in the US and Canada. The focus is on building customer relationships and providing technical support for cryogenic systems. Responsibilities include customer contact, site visits, technical drawings, pricing proposals, troubleshooting, and order entry., Visit customers to deliver technical sales presentations and drive sales growth. Accurately measure and sketch piping systems for quotes and fabrication. Prepare quotations for prospective customers. Attend trade shows and conferences as required. Troubleshoot systems by phone or in person if needed. Contact potential customers from trade show leads, networking, and inquiries. Build and maintain long-term customer relationships. Maintain and regularly update the CRM database. Represent VBC with professionalism, confidence, and enthusiasm.
