## About the Role

* Bachelor's Degree in the following disciplines: Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or another related field
 * Linux Expertise:
 + 6+ years of Linux Administration experience (preferable SUSE)
 + Have a mindset for independently identifying, analyzing, and efficiently solving variety of system related problems
 + Practical experience with:
o Networking and Network File Systems (NFS)
o Disk [RAID] configuration
o BIOS/UEFI and iLO
o Multiple user authentication methods and access restriction
o System patchingo
o Linux firewall experience*
o Exhibit an enthusiasm for producing work that follow quality standards and follows defined procedures*

## Description

As a Principal Linux Systems Engineer you will perform complex Linux systems administration, hardware qualification and delivery, and provide technical leadership in design, development, training, performance, and delivery of our products and services.

You will report to the Manager Software Systems Technology, Nuclear Fuel Technology Engineering and be located at Cranberry Township, PA. The position is hybrid, you will be onsite a few days per week., * Perform system administration of corporate Engineering Linux platforms, as well as delivery and hardware maintenance of qualified Linux platforms to contracted nuclear utility customers.

 * Installation and configuration of the base operating system, participating in the design and deployment of security updates, coordination of customer site delivery and maintenance visits, and ongoing support of Linux systems in the corporate and customer environments.
 * You will collaborate with engineering users to deploy applications and resolve issues.
