Preferred Qualifications * Knowledge of configuration-management principles and best practices, including standards such as EIA-649-1, MIL-HDBK-61, and GEIA-859. * Experience developing and maintaining program plans, process documentation, and configuration-management tools. * Proficiency with configuration-management data tools such as Atlassian Jira, Confluence, and Tableau. * Exceptional organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to interface across all levels of the organization. ## Description * Facilitate and document Configuration Control Boards, Technical Review Boards, and Change Boards. * Establish, maintain, and audit configuration-management libraries for documents, software, and hardware items. * Plan and coordinate preparation, review, and release of engineering drawings, production specifications, schedules, and contract modifications to ensure compliance with contract requirements. * Administer change processes, including change-order creation, authorization, status tracking, and integration with engineering, quality, and mission-assurance functions. * Manage the full lifecycle of change packages-from initiation through closure-verifying implementation and updating status records. * Perform configuration status accounting, generate metrics, and produce reports on baseline maturity and item status. * Conduct configuration audits and verify correct marking of documents per contract and corporate guidance. * Execute contract and supplier data-requirement activities, including planning, scheduling, delivery, and maintaining Supplier Statements of Work and Supplier Requirements Documents. * Support development, enhancement, and maintenance of configuration-management and data-management tools. * Provide technical configuration liaison with senior internal and external stakeholders, deliver presentations and coordinating cross-functional resolution of configuration issues.
