Need to be able to articulate where you are in the implementation etc adaptable and self starter mentality NEEDED Level of comfort to command your audience, leading calls etc. This person has to take ownership and accountability role., * 12 years of technology project management experience Financial services firm / industry / exchange / colocation * Experience leading network infrastructure programs/projects at Data Centers or offices * Intermediate-level knowledge in one or more of the following: LAN, WAN, carrier circuits, data centers * Experience working with client-facing groups, market data teams and a full knowledge of exchanges [NYSE, Nasdaq, BATS.etc)Knowledge of working with data B2B providers like BT Radianz, and TNS. * Proven experience developing partnerships with and successfully coordinating across various Business, Technology, Operations, Control partners and stakeholders. * Familiar with network infrastructure, IT Infrastructure, and network architecture. * Knowledge and experience in workflow management software (e.g., Jira) and ServiceNow. * Strong written and verbal communications skills, ability to interact at all levels of the organization and tailor messages appropriately. * Independent self-starter who can manage multiple activities to aggressive deadlines. * Eagerness to learn the business and understand detailed requirements. * Experience working with cross functional teams, including Operations, Design/Arch Technology, Risk and Compliance. * Highly skilled in Microsoft Office Tools: Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Project, Visio, and MS Teams ## Description Client is seeking an infrastructure project manager from the financial services industry with experience in data center, real time market data, electronic trading and/or low latency network switch technology. The role will focus on critical day-to-day project management activities associated with the installation and coordination of new electronic trading infrastructure at Data Centers and colocation, client connectivity and extranet services. This role is hands-on, fast paced and a high-volume environment. As an IT project manager, you will be responsible for multiple ongoing projects throughout their execution cycle to ensure success as defined by adherence to standards of scope and timeline. This role will focus on project lifecycle for electronic trading including hardware tracking, installation coordination of network equipment, circuits, cross-connects and partnership with network operations to test, turn up and operationalize new services into production.
