Preferred Qualifications * Proficient in maintaining and troubleshooting SCADA HMI platforms in renewable and fossil generation environments. * Skilled in configuring and supporting industrial control-system communications using protocols such as SEL, Modbus, DNP3, and OPC. * Proficient in server administration across virtualized and physical environments for both Windows and Linux systems. * Hands-on experience managing and supporting Active Directory, including user/group administration and policy management. * Experience providing network support, including troubleshooting, configuration, and performance monitoring. * Experience with battery management systems, including troubleshooting and vendor interfacing. * Knowledge of infrastructure technologies (compute, storage, networking), COTS and open-source packages, and cloud solutions (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS). * Ability to develop technical documentation and evaluate emerging technologies. ## Description This role supports the technology behind our non-nuclear generation fleet, ensuring it is reliable, secure, and ready for the future. As an IT Controls Engineer, you will support the systems that power renewable and fossil generation facilities, making sure operators have dependable tools to safely generate electricity every day.
