This role involves defining the architecture., security posture and operational processes for the SOCOM customer private cloud, as well as overseeing application migration efforts and ensuring alignment with DoW regulations for handling classified information. WHAT YOULL NEED TO SUCCEED: Education:Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of ScienceRequired Experience:7+ years of related experience Required Technical Skills:Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory administration and Windows Server platforms (2016/2019/2022) Experience withPowerShell Scripting and systems automation Experience performing troubleshooting for technicians and/or end users utilizing Service Now ticketing system.Strong experience with server virtualization (VMWare and/or Microsoft Hyper-V) Participate in project planning and management, providing technical guidance and expertise as needed.Security Clearance Level:TS/SCI Required Skills and Abilities:Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills
with the ability to effectively communicate across diverse audiences and influence cross functionally.Competent to work at a high technical level on all phases of systems engineering activities. excellent communication and briefing skills; shows tact, effective listening skills and follow through. Experience in creating effective technical documentation. Detail oriented and organized; able to understand information systems and ensure accuracy of work. Preferred Skills:Proven track record of leading teams of engineers and architects in delivering complex cloud projects, specifically within private cloud environments.Deep expertise in private cloud architectures, virtualization technologies (e.g. VMWare vSphere, KVM), and cloud management platforms.Extensive experience with containerization technologies (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes) and microservices architecture as applicable to private cloud deployments.Strong understanding of security protocols, and standards relevant to DoW environments
