In this role, you'll take ownership of defining and evolving requirements for a fielded GPS-based approach and landing system used in some of the most demanding operational environments. You'll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, integrated system solutions. What You Will Do * Support the JPALS and JPALS-adjacent programs * Help elicit, derive, and define system-level and subsystem-level requirements * Translate customer and stakeholder needs into clear, testable engineering requirements * Apply systems thinking to understand how hardware, software, and interfaces interact * Work closely with senior engineers and follow guidance from the team lead * Learn to develop and maintain requirements in IBM Rational DOORS, including traceability and change analysis * Assist with scripts to automate documentation flows to and from DOORS * Help define system and subsystem interfaces and contribute to ICDs and architecture artifacts * Participate in technical discussions, design reviews, and requirement assessments * Support verification planning and coordinate with test engineering teams
