## About the Role

* 5 years of experience as a Database Engineer or similar role
 * Experience with Oracle SQL and PL/SQL
 * Experience with MS SQL Server
 * Expert-level proficiency in the latest Oracle Database version
 * Proficiency in TOAD and similar tools
 * Experience in OEM
 * Proven experience in Database Design and Data modeling (ER Diagram and Normalization)
 * Strong understanding of Oracle architecture, memory structure, and background processes
 * Hands-on experience in performance tuning, including query optimization, indexing strategies, and use of AWR, ASH, and Explain plan
 * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
 * Excellent communication and leadership capabilities

Desired skills:

 * Previous experience working in the financial domain
 * Knowledge of shell scripting or Python for automating database tasks
 * Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools like Jenkins, GIT, and Datical
 * Exposure to MongoDB
 * Knowledge of data security, encryption, and compliance standards

## Description

This role involves the design, development, and review of all database changes for our client. As a Database Engineer, you will apply industry-accepted design and development practices to perform all database-related changes, such as DB design, normalization, and SQL/PL-SQL programming, using an Agile methodology. This position requires being onsite a minimum of 3 days per week., * Design, develop, and review all database changes
