## About the Role

* Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience
 * Minimum 3 years prior experience in embedded systems, software engineering (or similar role)
 * Experience working with Linux systems
 * Ability to develop and debug multi-threaded Python code
 * Ability to understand, test, and troubleshoot complicated system interactions
 * Experience developing tests with reusable and robust code
 * Ability to develop test guidelines from specifications
 * Experience communicating with hardware over common interfaces (e.g. UART, CAN/CAN-FD, Ethernet)
 * Working knowledge of application-level firmware development (e.g. RTOS, I/O, interrupts)
 * Technical understanding of development tools, source control, and continuous integration build systems, e.g. GitHub, Jenkins, Artifactory, CI/CD pipelines
