## Description

The Foundations Lab is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to support the Foundations Lab as a key member of a high performing team. We are looking for a motivated, forward-thinking engineer who is excited to contribute to new initiatives in an R&D environment and can adapt to evolving requirements and learn emerging tools and technologies that will enhance the value that we deliver to our customers.

In this role, you will work closely with the Chief Architect (CA) and Lead Software Engineer (LSE), to mature customer ideas into viable tools and products in order to help mitigate risks to future customer acquisitions.

You will be expected to:

 * Track user and lab project requirements
 * Understand system and architecture requirements
 * Deploy containerized applications to AWS using EC2, ECS, and S3, optimizing performance and reducing infrastructure costs
 * Mentor junior developers and conduct code reviews to uphold best practices
 * Participate in customer briefings, such as Lab status discussions and product demonstrations
