## About the Role

* Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
 * Proven experience as a Network Engineer, Systems Engineer, or similar role
 * Strong knowledge of networking technologies (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VPNs, etc.)
 * Hands-on experience with network hardware (Cisco, Juniper, or similar) and firewalls
 * Knowledge of network security practices and compliance standards
 * Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

## Description

* Design, configure, and maintain local area networks (LAN), wide area networks (WAN), and wireless networks
 * Monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize system availability and efficiency
 * Install, configure, and support routers, switches, firewalls, and other networking hardware/software
 * Implement and manage network security measures, including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection/prevention systems
 * Collaborate with IT team members to support servers, cloud services, and other infrastructure systems
 * Document network configurations, processes, and procedures
