## About the Role

Comprehensive System Administration: Proven experience configuring, managing, and maintaining UNIX, Linux, and Windows operating systems, including OS installation, patch management, and system integrity maintenance.

Tier 1-2 Escalation & Troubleshooting: In-depth experience diagnosing, troubleshooting, and resolving complex hardware, software, network component, and dispatch issues with clear feedback to agency management.

System Optimization & Capacity Planning: Demonstrated ability to analyze capacity, optimize resource utilization, and perform system enhancements to boost reliability and performance.

Enterprise Infrastructure & SOA Awareness: Practical working knowledge of storage, client/server/network architecture interdependencies within a Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) environment.

Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline, PLUS 15+ years of professional software engineering experience OR High School Diploma / GED, PLUS 20+ years of hands-on technical software development and big data administration experience in lieu of a degree.
