## About the Role

You don't need to know everything already. We're looking for students who have a solid foundation, enjoy solving problems, and are excited to learn.

 * Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related engineering field
 * Experience with object-oriented programming using C#, Java, and/or C++
 * Basic experience with Python
 * Familiarity with source-control tools such as Git
 * Basic debugging and troubleshooting skills
 * Curiosity, initiative, and a willingness to dig into problems you haven't seen before

Preferred

If you've had exposure to any of the following, even better:

 * GUI or application development
 * Software development methodologies such as Agile/Scrum
 * Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) tools and concepts
 * Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and software testing concepts
 * Personal, class, hackathon, open-source, or other software projects you're excited to talk about
 * Strong interpersonal and communication skills
 * Technical writing and presentation experience
