Job Type ## Description Position Overview As our silicon team grows, we are seeking a front-end silicon lead to manage both the design and verification of our neuromorphic chiplets and IP. This principal-level role calls for a talented technical leader with a track record of realizing new processor and accelerator architectures, plus strong SoC integration experience including high-speed interfaces such as Ethernet, PCIe/UCIe, and memory controllers. Your multidisciplinary team will turn emerging neuromorphic and AI accelerator concepts into robust, manufacturable silicon. First-principles thinking and an openness to learning new technologies and methodologies, such as asynchronous design and AI automation, are essential. Responsibilities * Engage with architects and AI researchers to identify hardware innovations and optimizations, and translate them into implementable microarchitectures. * Lead a team responsible for design implementation and verification through post-silicon validation. * Partner with physical/custom design engineers, often first prototyping blocks through place-and-route prior to hand-off, and co-design critical custom circuits such as memories to achieve the best KPIs. * Evaluate, select, and integrate internal and external IP, including I/O interfaces. * Work with software and systems teams to enable development long before tape-out and ensure smooth post-silicon bring-up. * Mentor engineers and strengthen design and verification practices as the program scales., This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. * Job posting details (such as work model, location or time type) are subject to change. ## Related Videos - [The Billion Dollar Machine: First Time Right.](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/393-the-billion-dollar-machine-first-time-right) - [The Gashlycrumb Tinies of AI Networking You Must Know (or Languish!)](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/2067-the-gashlycrumb-tinies-of-ai-networking-you-must-know-or-languish) - [Building a hypercar from scratch](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/607-building-a-hypercar-from-scratch) - [More efficient software for more efficient microchips](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/1164-more-efficient-software-for-more-efficient-microchips) - [Docker network without Docker](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/1418-docker-network-without-docker) - [Strange New Worlds: shaping the future of the digital age](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/677-strange-new-worlds-shaping-the-future-of-the-digital-age) ## Related Articles - [How We Built a Worry-Free System That Runs for 10+ Years – And What We’d Do Again](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/751-how-we-built-a-worry-free-system-that-runs-for-10-years-and-what-we-d-do-again) - [AI Eats the Verifiable First](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/765-ai-eats-the-verifiable-first) - [Dev Digest 121 - AI goes offline](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/456-dev-digest-121-ai-goes-offline) - [Stephan Gillich - Bringing AI Everywhere](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/489-stephan-gillich-bringing-ai-everywhere) - [Dev Digest 120 - Apple and peers](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/455-dev-digest-120-apple-and-peers) - [Dev Digest 132 - Binging WADFlix?](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/473-dev-digest-132-binging-wadflix)
