Share Software Engineering Manager, Cloud Security, Identity and Access Management, * Bachelor's degree, or equivalent practical experience. * 8 years of experience in software development. * 3 years of experience with developing large-scale infrastructure, distributed systems or networks, or experience with compute technologies, storage or hardware architecture. * 3 years of experience in a technical leadership role. * 2 years of experience in a people management role managing direct reports., * Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical field. * 3 years of experience working in a complex, matrixed organization. * Experience building Generative AI Agents. * Experience with Cloud Identity and Access Management. ## Description * Manage, coach, and support the career advancement of a high-performing engineering team while fostering a collaborative culture. * Define and execute a multi-year technical roadmap for Google Cloud Platform (GCP) authorization infrastructure in alignment with broader Google Cloud reliability and security goals. * Drive complex projects through the entire software lifecycle, balancing delivery goals with operational health and high quality. * Provide technical direction and system design oversight for distributed, fault-tolerant infrastructure built for 99.999% availability. Maintain accountability for service service level objectives (SLOs), production resilience, security hygiene, and proactive capacity planning. * Build strong partnerships across GCP teams to integrate platform capabilities and drive cross-organizational technical alignment.
