## About the Role

* High School Diploma
 * 5+ years of experience in managing VMware vSphere environments
 * Proficiency in VMware vSphere, vCenter Server, and ESXi administration
 * Strong understanding and experience with virtualization concepts, technologies, and best practices
 * Experience with storage, networking, and server hardware technologies
 * Excellent troubleshooting skills and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications:

 * VMware Certified Professional (VCP) certification preferred
 * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field

Clearance Requirements:

 * US citizenship required and an active Secret security clearance

Physical Requirements:

 * Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%
 * Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer.
 * The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
 * Up to 25% travel required or as needed.

## Description

* Design, deploy, and configure VMware vSphere servers.
 * Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize VMware infrastructure performance.
 * Manage VMware vCenter Server, including resource allocation, and performance tuning.
 * Plan and execute VMware ESXi host upgrades, patches, and security enhancements.
 * Collaborate with other IT teams to integrate VMware infrastructure with storage, network, and other systems.
 * Develop and maintain documentation for VMware infrastructure configurations, procedures, and best practices.
 * Provide technical support and assistance to end-users and other IT teams as needed.
