## Description

A Senior DevOps Engineer works with developers and IT staff to oversee the code releases, combining an understanding of both engineering and coding. From creating and implementing systems software to analyzing data to improve the applications and environments, a DevOps Engineer increases productivity in the workplace. They understand the software development lifecycle and have a clear understanding of various automation tools for developing digital pipelines (CI/CD pipelines).

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.

 * Build CI/CD Pipelines: Create automated systems to test and deploy code quickly.
 * Manage Infrastructure as Code: Use code to provision and scale cloud servers automatically.
 * Ensure Observability: Set up logging and monitoring tools to catch system errors early.
 * Lead Incident Response: Fix major production crashes and find the root cause of failures.
 * Mentor Team Members: Guide junior engineers and review their technical work.
 * Ensure uptime of 99.9% and 99% quality of service (degradation)
