## About the Role

* 5 or more years of experience in VMware NSX-T administration, virtualized network engineering, and data center modernization.
 * Proficiency in VMware vSphere, ESXi hypervisors, vCenter infrastructure, and ecosystem management.
 * Experience with designing and deploying micro-segmentation security models and distributed firewall (DFW) policies.
 * Experience in network routing protocols including BGP, OSPF, VLANs, VXLAN, and overlay transport node configurations.
 * Experience with automation and scripting utilizing PowerShell, PowerCLI, Python, or REST APIs.
 * Experience in monitoring and observability suites such as Aria Operations for Networks (vRNI), SolarWinds, or Splunk.
 * Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

## Description

* Design, deploy, and administer enterprise VMware NSX-T environments, logical routers, switches, and load balancers.
 * Implement and maintain distributed firewall rules, micro-segmentation architectures, and workload security policies.
 * Troubleshoot multi-layer network virtualization defects across overlay networks, transport nodes, and edge appliances.
 * Execute regular maintenance, patch updates, and lifecycle management across NSX and vSphere infrastructure.
 * Develop automation scripts using PowerCLI and Python to streamline network provisioning and disaster recovery workflows.
 * Monitor system capacity, health metrics, and infrastructure logs utilizing Aria Operations and enterprise telemetry tools.
 * Author and update network topology diagrams, standard operating procedures, and technical configuration baselines.
