## Description

This position is for a skilled CockroachDB Database Engineer who will be responsible for managing and optimizing our database systems to ensure high availability, disaster recovery, and regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate will have experience in database administration, performance tuning, and shell scripting., * Manage and maintain CockroachDB databases

 * Implement and maintain database automation and Infrastructure-as-Code
 * Ensure high availability, performance tuning, monitoring, and failover capabilities
 * Implement disaster recovery processes
 * Ensure security, compliance, and governance of database systems
 * Provide DBaaS and self-service provisioning
 * Provide troubleshooting and SME-level support
