This is a technical leadership role, working closely with internal stakeholders and third-party engineering partners to guide architecture, review designs, solve technical challenges and drive successful product delivery. The successful candidate will combine strong engineering expertise with the ability to build relationships, influence decisions and provide technical direction across internal teams and suppliers. The Opportunity You will act as the key technical interface between the business and external development partners responsible for embedded software, electronics and system development activities. Working at system level, you will review proposed solutions, challenge design decisions, identify technical risks and ensure products are robust, manufacturable and aligned with programme objectives. This role is ideally suited to somebody who has progressed beyond day-to-day engineering and now enjoys technical leadership, systems thinking and directing engineering activities across multidisciplinary teams.
