 * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related field preferred; equivalent self-directed learning or certification (e.g., BigQuery, SQL certifications) will be considered.
 * Experience working with relational databases and writing SQL queries to retrieve, transform, validate, or analyze data, preferred.
 * Experience working with cloud-based data platforms or data warehouses, such as BigQuery, Snowflake, or similar technologies, preferred.

## Description

The Junior Data Engineer supports Vivacity's data infrastructure by helping build, maintain, and document the queries, pipelines, and integrations that connect NetSuite, HubSpot, BigQuery, and related systems. This role reports to the Director of Enterprise Applications and will be trained and mentored by the Senior Data Analytics Manager, building fluency in SQL, ETL/integration patterns, and Vivacity's data architecture., * Support and collaborate with stakeholders in the design, implementation, and maintenance of data systems, dashboards, and reporting frameworks.

 * Write and maintain SQL queries (BigQuerySQL, PostgreSQL, SuiteQL, LookML) to support reporting, reconciliation, data requests
 * Assist with monitoring and troubleshooting data pipelines
 * Assist in testing and validating data queries and reports as needed
 * Contribute to view and column documentation to improve data usability and query accuracy
 * Maintain organized documentation of work performed, issues encountered and resolutions in the support ticketing platform for knowledge continuity
 * Perform other duties as assigned
