## About the Role

* Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field or equivalent work experience;
 * At least five (5) years of experience in IT support;
 * Technical certifications preferred;
 * Proficient in the organization's key technology platforms. For example, Office 365 applications, Windows, macOS, hardware, etc;
 * Strong analytical, problem-solving, and conceptual skills, and the ability to own a technical task and work it to completion;
 * Proven subject matter expertise;
 * Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
 * Ability to work independently with a high level of initiative;
 * Demonstrated ability to work in an organized, detailed, and cooperative manner;
 * Exercise a high level of confidentiality;
 * Must be willing and able to work evenings and weekends, as needed.
 * Computer skills sufficient to perform essential functions including knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite;
 * Must be 21 years old with a valid driver's license with at least 3 years driving experience in the U.S. to operate a vehicle on behalf of Bethany;
 * Must pass a Motor Vehicle Records (MVR) check and maintain a reliable vehicle with proof of adequate coverage;
 * Pass a criminal history screen, including state and local child protection agency registries;
 * Subscription to and integration of the agency Statement of Faith, Mission Statement, and Commitment to Unity

## Description

* Resolve complex technical issues, acting as a subject matter expert;
 * Answer questions through corporate ticketing system, email, and phone calls;
 * Monitor support queue for incidents and make sure they are correctly prioritized and assigned to the correct person or department;
 * Write and maintain knowledge base articles to ensure support resources are up-to-date, userfriendly, and effective in addressing common issues;
 * Provide leadership and guidance to IT Support Technician I and II team members;
 * Mentor team members in advanced technical and customer service skills;
 * Serve as an escalation point for the most challenging incidents;
 * Update users on the status of their incidents;
 * Essential job responsibilities may vary based on the specific needs of each program/department;
 * May be required or asked to participate in a Bethany sponsored event;
 * Complete other duties as assigned.
