## About the Role

Do you have a valid Driving License license?, Do you have experience in SolidWorks?, * Experience in civil, structural, mechanical, fabrication or installation design

 * Strong AutoCAD + SolidWorks or Inventor ability
 * Experience producing construction or manufacturing drawings
 * Understanding of structural or installation principles (loads, buildability, etc.)
 * Experience on live projects (not purely academic)
 * Full UK driving licence

 * Desirable
 * GRP / composites / steelwork experience
 * Site or installation exposure
 * CDM / BS EN / Building Regs knowledge

## Description

We are working with a specialist manufacturer operating within the infrastructure sector, delivering projects across rail, utilities, water, and marine environments.

We are seeking a hands-on Design Engineer with real-world construction or manufacturing experience to produce detailed 2D and 3D engineering designs from concept through to fabrication and as-built stages.

This is a practical position requiring strong technical capability and is best suited to a Design Engineer who understands how structures and components are built, manufactured, and installed. This is not a BIM coordination or architectural modelling role.

What you'll do

 * Produce 2D/3D CAD models using AutoCAD + SolidWorks / Inventor
 * Create fabrication and installation drawings for GRP/composite systems
 * Support design from concept through to manufacture and installation
 * Ensure designs are buildable, compliant, and technically sound
 * Produce as-built / red-line drawings from site input
 * Work closely with engineering, production and project teams
