Agent guide: [/agents.md](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/agents.md). --- # Testing Coordinator - **Company:** Eastern Elevator Service And Sales Company - **Location:** Windber, PA, United States - **Experience:** Experienced - **Salary:** $43,680.0 - $49,920.0 - **Contract:** Permanent contract - **Skills:** Microsoft Office, Test Scripts - **Published:** September 14, 2026 - **Apply:** https://www.indeed.com/viewjob?jk=7d69b6d662bfa377 ## About the Role * High school diploma or equivalent required. * 2+ years of experience in the elevator industry, preferably in testing, service, inspections, or operations. * Knowledge of elevator testing and inspection requirements preferred. * Familiarity with local and state elevator codes and AHJ requirements preferred. * Strong organizational and scheduling skills. * Excellent written and verbal communication skills. * Strong attention to detail and follow-through. * Ability to manage multiple testing schedules and deadlines simultaneously. * Proficiency with Microsoft Office and the ability to learn Company software and systems. * Ability to work effectively with field mechanics, customers, inspectors, and management. * Ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment., * This is a sedentary role; however, some filing is required. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand, as necessary. ## Description * Coordinate all required elevator testing and inspections, including scheduling with customers, mechanics, inspectors, and applicable authorities having jurisdiction (AHJs). * Maintain an accurate testing schedule and ensure required tests are completed within applicable deadlines. * Coordinate annual, periodic, acceptance, and other required elevator testing. * Track testing results, deficiencies, violations, and required repairs through completion. * Communicate testing requirements, schedules, and results to customers and internal teams. * Coordinate mechanics and subcontractors needed to complete testing and corrective work. * Ensure required documentation, test reports, inspection reports, and certificates are completed and maintained accurately. * Monitor upcoming testing deadlines and proactively identify potential scheduling conflicts or compliance issues. * Follow up on failed tests, violations, and outstanding repairs to ensure timely resolution and retesting. * Maintain accurate records in the Company's systems and provide regular status reports to management. * Work with field personnel to ensure they understand testing requirements and are prepared for scheduled inspections. * Assist with obtaining permits, scheduling inspections, and coordinating with local municipalities and inspectors as needed. * Review testing documentation for completeness and accuracy before submission. * Escalate testing delays, compliance concerns, customer issues, or safety concerns to management. * Maintain confidentiality of customer and Company information. * Perform service ticket and time ticket reconciliations. * Create work orders and service activities.
