## About the Role

* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field.
 * Experience in AI governance, technology risk management, data governance, compliance, privacy, or a related discipline.
 * Strong understanding of AI technologies, including generative AI, machine learning, large language models (LLMs), and associated risks and governance considerations.
 * Experience leading cross-functional governance, compliance, risk, or enterprise transformation initiatives.
 * Knowledge of AI regulations, data privacy requirements, ethical AI principles, and risk management practices.
 * Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and executive presentation skills, with the ability to influence across technical and non-technical audiences.

What You'll Do

 * Lead and evolve Alcoa's AI governance framework, including policies, standards, processes, and oversight structures that enable responsible AI adoption.
 * Play a key leadership role as a member of the AI Steering Committee and help shape enterprise AI strategy, governance priorities, and decision-making.
 * Develop and manage AI intake, inventory, and risk management processes to ensure compliance, transparency, and accountability.
 * Partner with Legal, Ethics & Compliance, Data Privacy, Procurement, Cybersecurity, Audit, and business leaders to govern AI technologies and third-party solutions.
 * Drive AI awareness, training, and stakeholder engagement programs that promote ethical and responsible AI use across the organization.
 * Establish governance metrics, monitoring processes, and executive reporting to measure compliance, risk, adoption, and business value.
 * Stay ahead of emerging AI technologies, regulations, and industry trends while helping guide Alcoa's AI roadmap and future direction.
