## About the Role

* Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a related field
 * Minimum of 4 years' experience in all aspects of roadway engineering design
 * Professional Engineer (PE) license
 * Proficiency with MicroStation and/or AutoCAD, familiarity and demonstrated experience with Highways and Roads engineering software such as Bentley ConceptStation and Open Roads Designer
 * Proficiency with MS Office Suite
 * Excellent communication and organizational skills
 * Experience should include urban and rural corridors, interstate, interchange intersection design, traffic management, transportation planning, preparation of concept alignments, geometrical layout and CAD base alignment plans
 * Preference is given to local candidates
 * Positive attitude and commitment to being an advocate of the Holt team

As a result, they possess a keen awareness of the attributes of highly successful projects: attention to quality, timely execution of the work, and communication, with the ultimate goal being to exceed client expectations., * Serve in a technical role under the direction of a Project Manager on the engineering development of urban and rural highway/roadway projects

 * Oversee work by taking responsibility for alignment and profile, geometrics, drainage, development of plans, and construction estimates
 * Communicate and coordinate with 3rd parties and the project team to aid in the design process and schedule
 * Prepare detailed engineering designs for roadway and highway projects
 * Participate in project coordination meetings, and activities ranging from feasibility studies to construction plan development
 * Assume some project management duties and interact with clients
 * Perform other duties as needed
