## Description

A well-established quantitative trading firm is hiring a Java Software Engineer to join the team responsible for their proprietary trading and execution platform. The firm operates across algorithmic execution and systematic investing, serving institutional clients globally. This is a hands-on engineering role at the heart of a live, high-stakes trading system, with real ownership from day one. This position is onsite, in their London office.

What you'll do:

 * Own and deliver the roadmap for the firm's core trading and execution platform
 * Work directly with execution brokers to improve algorithmic performance, incorporating research feedback and coordinating A/B testing
 * Onboard new execution brokers and implement approved execution enhancements
 * Build, maintain, and improve Transaction Cost Analysis (TCA) reporting
 * Contribute to the architectural evolution of the platform alongside a senior engineering team
 * Participate in the production support rota
