You do not need to be a Python-first backend engineer, but you should be productive in it. * AI Expertise: You're a forefront user of Agentic AI. You're able to bring hands-on experience and start influencing the team beyond code generation; reserving judgment for architecture, business logic, and security, using AI as a thought partner and being able to set up quality gates and safety nets to enhance existing engineering workflows and propose AI-native alternatives. * Experience building developer platforms, internal developer tooling, developer productivity or developer experience solutions. * Experience designing platforms and tooling for engineers as internal users, with a strong understanding of developer needs and workflows. * Familiarity with cloud-native environments and distributed systems. * Business-orientation and data-driven approach. * Strong communication skills. Minimum C1 English level. ## Description * Developer tooling and paved paths: building scalable tools and abstractions that reduce friction and enable teams to work autonomously. * AI-native development: using AI and agentic workflows to rethink and improve how software is developed and shipped at Preply.
