## About the Role

* A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in software development (Java).
 * Good knowledge of Java and Spring Boot.
 * Experience designing, developing, or consuming RESTful APIs.
 * Understanding of microservices architecture and asynchronous communication.
 * Knowledge of clean code principles and software development best practices.
 * Experience with automated testing on both frontend and backend applications.
 * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
 * Proactive mindset and willingness to take ownership of tasks and challenges.
 * Team-oriented attitude and ability to collaborate across different disciplines.
 * Good communication and interpersonal skills.
 * Fluency in English, both spoken and written.
 * Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment with evolving priorities and technologies.
 * Empathy and understanding of customer needs to develop solutions that deliver real value and a positive user experience.

Preferred:

 * Experience with Kafka or other event-streaming technologies.
 * Experience with MongoDB, Redis, or other NoSQL databases.
 * Knowledge of Docker and cloud-based development environments.
 * Familiarity with CI/CD practices.
 * Basic knowledge of Kubernetes.
 * Understanding of Agile software development methodologies.

## Description

You will work on cloud-based applications built with Angular and Java Spring Boot in a microservices ecosystem. Working closely with other developers, Tech Leads, Product Managers, and UX/UI designers, you will help deliver scalable, maintainable, and user-friendly solutions for the ports and terminals industry., Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these essential functions.

 * Design, develop, and maintain web application features using Java (Spring Boot).

 * Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including technical design, implementation, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
 * Collaborate with developers, Product Managers, and UX/UI designers to translate business requirements into effective technical solutions.
 * Build and consume RESTful APIs and contribute to event-driven integrations using Kafka.
 * Write clean, efficient, testable, and maintainable code following development best practices.
 * Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving development standards across the team.
 * Implement intuitive and responsive user interfaces based on UX/UI designs.
 * Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software defects and performance issues.
 * Create automated tests to ensure the reliability and quality of the delivered features.
 * Document technical solutions and share knowledge with other team members.
 * Contribute proactively to technical discussions and continuous improvement initiatives.
