They implemented iTrent quickly and have run without a dedicated in-house systems specialist ever since. As a result, recurring issues get patched rather than fixed, and several modules they've already paid for are sitting underused. That's where you come in. This is a rare opportunity to take real ownership of iTrent, almost as if you were building it up again from the start. You'll stabilise what's there, unlock the modules that aren't being used, and develop the system properly for the long term. You'd be the single point of contact for all things iTrent, covering both business-as-usual support and ongoing development work, reporting into HR. What you'll be doing * Owning iTrent end to end as the in-house expert * Handling day-to-day system support and resolving recurring issues * Leading development work and rolling out underused modules * Assessing the impact of system changes before they're made * Building useful, flexible reporting through Business Objects so managers can actually get at their data * Training and supporting users across the organisation ## Related Videos - [Model Based Systems Engineering in an Agile Product Development Process](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/68-model-based-systems-engineering-in-an-agile-product-development-process) - [The user in the eye of the Cargo1492 storm](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/96-the-user-in-the-eye-of-the-cargo1492-storm) - [Design as an algorithm, not as a feature](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/471-design-as-an-algorithm-not-as-a-feature) - [Mastering AWS Cost Optimization: Real-world technical and operational cost-saving best practices](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/1408-mastering-aws-cost-optimization-real-world-technical-and-operational-cost-saving-best-practices) - [Automated Driving - Why is it so hard to introduce](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/628-automated-driving-why-is-it-so-hard-to-introduce) - [Flexibility is Key: Unlocking the Advantages of Versatile Software Solutions for Strategic Innovatio](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/1943-flexibility-is-key-unlocking-the-advantages-of-versatile-software-solutions-for-strategic-innovatio) ## Related Articles - [IT Salaries in UK](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/288-it-salaries-in-uk) - [System change: restart as developer?](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/39-system-change-restart-as-developer) - [Where to Find Entry-Level Software Engineering Jobs](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/397-where-to-find-entry-level-software-engineering-jobs) - [Where To Find Software Engineering Jobs](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/396-where-to-find-software-engineering-jobs) - [UK Business Culture and Etiquette](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/326-uk-business-culture-and-etiquette) - [7 Important Tips That Every Software Developer Should Know](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/101-7-important-tips-that-every-software-developer-should-know)
