Database Experience: Extensive familiarity with commercial claims and EHR databases, such as Optum, MarketScan, IQVIA PharMetrics, or HealthVerity. Cohort Studies: Ability to conduct longitudinal cohort studies, including creating study cohorts, baseline and outcome variables from scratch. Epidemiological Methods: Solid understanding of epidemiologic study designs and methodologies. Statistical Expertise: Hands-on experience with basic statistical tests, regression models, and survival analysis. Educational Background: Advanced degree in Biostatistics or Epidemiology. Preferred: Prior experience in the pharmaceutical industry, but not necessarily., * Undergraduate degree, preferably in a scientific or statistical discipline; in lieu of degree, an equivalent combination of education and demonstrated programming experience. * Extensive programming experience in SAS or other required software, preferably in a clinical trial environment. * Excellent written and verbal communication skills. * Ability to read, write, speak and understand English. ## Description * Assess quality of the data * Protocol and SAP review and input * Conduct analyses (programming of TFLs) Nice to have: * Standard Data & Data Standards + Observational Medical Outcomes (OMOP) Common Data Model (CDM) o Open community of data standards o Standards, structure and content of observational data o Enables efficient analyses o Data Standardization - OHDSI + OHDSI (Observational Health Data Studies & Informatics) Tools o OHDSI - Observational Health Data Sciences and Informatics + DARWIN: DARWIN EU Initiative Presentation - OHDSI, Tasks, duties, and responsibilities as listed in this job description are not exhaustive. May direct the work of lower level professionals or manage processes and programs. The majority of time is spent contributing to the design, implementation or delivery of processes, programs, and policies, using knowledge and skills typically acquired through advanced education. Individual contributor with developing subject matter expertise and responsibility for processes. In-depth knowledge and skills within a professional discipline, understanding the impact of work on related areas.
