As Technology Programme Manager, you will take lead responsibility for supporting the daily delivery of Programmes across Council Directorates, ensuring successful implementation and impact management. You will coordinate a strategic portfolio working closely with DDAT and Business Change colleagues, including the DDAT Portfolio Manager, and may oversee 2 to 3 Project Managers or graduates. You will work closely with Officers, Members, Partners, and senior stakeholders across the organisation to ensure programme objectives are met. Tracking programme plans and risks and issues, facilitating risk and assurance sessions with senior leaders, and maintaining the PMO Framework and processes form integral parts of your role. You will also support budget monitoring for projects and programmes, contribute to service and financial planning, and champion the principles of corporate parenting throughout all aspects of service delivery. This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated, diplomatically skilled leader with significant experience to guide our team toward enabling the organisation to deliver large-scale transformation, change and continuous improvement across the Borough., * Responsible for supporting the daily delivery of Technology Programmes across Council Directorates. * Responsible for coordination of a strategic portfolio, working closely with the Business Change colleagues, especially the PMO and Programme Delivery Manager and Project Managers to ensure successful implementation and impact management. * Accountable for the tracking of Programme level related risks across the Council with appropriate escalation and facilitation of risk and assurance sessions with senior leaders to understand potential issues, seek mitigations and provide successful delivery of services. * Leading, motivating, and developing staff involved with Projects and Programmes in line with delivery requirements, to achieve consistently high employee engagement and performance, including line management responsibilities if required. * Contribute to strategy, performance and quality control, and service and financial planning for specialist areas., We recognise that candidates may choose to use artificial intelligence (AI) tools to support the preparation of their job applications.
