Together you develop and support the internally developed service mesh solution using Envoy, a proxy that takes care of observability, resiliency and security in our service mesh. The service mesh is used globally and its userbase is global as well. It is being used by 800+ teams and 2000+ microservices. And you make sure that all teams and applications reach the Golden State by promoting the microservices golden path and correct usage of the service mesh! You make customers successful, by helping users to tackle issues related to our product. All squad members take part in this technical support towards users. Your day to day In the morning, you start by joining the team ceremony, the daily stand-up. Together with your squad, you align on progress, upcoming work, and anything that needs extra attention. After that, you pair with a colleague and pick the next relevant user story and spend some time reviewing pull requests from your teammates, giving thoughtful feedback and keeping quality high. Later in the morning, you realise there's an upcoming internal conference that would be a great opportunity to share how teams are using the platform. You take it on to contribute by preparing a short talk to advocate to a broader audience how to adopt the product you work on. In the afternoon, you connect with a product team that has questions about integrating with the service mesh. You walk through their setup together, help them troubleshoot, and update the documentation along the way so the next team benefits as well. During the session, it becomes clear they were still on an older version giving you a concrete data point to feed back into the team's backlog to improve automation and write-up how OpenRewrite can provide upgrade guidance for everyone. ## Related Videos - [Get ready to Rustle](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/698-get-ready-to-rustle) - [Understanding Kubernetes in a visual way](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/100085-understanding-kubernetes-in-a-visual-way) - [From DevOps to Scaled DevOps: How We’re Rebuilding Continuous Delivery as a Platform](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/100018-from-devops-to-scaled-devops-how-we-re-rebuilding-continuous-delivery-as-a-platform) - [Rate-limiting using eBPF and Istio: How to protect your SaaS customers from themselves](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/100220-rate-limiting-using-ebpf-and-istio-how-to-protect-your-saas-customers-from-themselves) - [Instant KAI Sandboxes with vCluster: Multi-Tenant, Multi-Scheduler GPU Sharing](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/100333-instant-kai-sandboxes-with-vcluster-multi-tenant-multi-scheduler-gpu-sharing) - [DevOps Maturity Check – a way to balance autonomy and alignment](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/58-devops-maturity-check-a-way-to-balance-autonomy-and-alignment) ## Related Articles - [Building AI Solutions with Rust and Docker](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/494-building-ai-solutions-with-rust-and-docker) - [Fully Remote Software Engineer Jobs](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/447-fully-remote-software-engineer-jobs) - [How to land a developer job in Amsterdam](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/36-how-to-land-a-developer-job-in-amsterdam) - [Find a Developer Job: 12 Best Job Sites For Developers](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/165-find-a-developer-job-12-best-job-sites-for-developers) - [How to Find Tech Jobs in Amsterdam](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/279-how-to-find-tech-jobs-in-amsterdam) - [Best Companies in the Netherlands: Top 25 Companies in 2023 ](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/193-best-companies-in-the-netherlands-top-25-companies-in-2023)
