As a Senior Backend Engineer, you'll be part of one of our 15+ cross-functional feature teams, working on the core systems that power Sendcloud. The Role + Shape the technical roadmap for impactful, multi-phase projects, delivering customer value iteratively and making sound technical decisions when requirements are open-ended. + Scope, plan, and estimate large features and lead projects involving multiple engineers, managing complex technical and strategic trade-offs. + Own what you build from code to production-respond with urgency to operational issues, balance delivery against technical debt, and keep systems reliable and scalable. + Break complex problems and fuzzy requirements into well-designed, extensible components, and contribute to major architectural decisions and ADRs.
