You treat the CRM as a critical upstream node in the company's data pipeline and actively coordinate schema changes with DataOps before deployment. * You are technically minded - Working with technology, systems, tools is something that gives you energy. You stay up to date naturally on latest developments in tech across Salesforce, AI and related technologies. * You have previously worked in a high growth environment (startup and/or scaleup) in a build phase and are comfortable with ambiguity. What we're looking for * Proven mastery of relational database design, custom object schemas, complex validation rules, field-level security, and Governor limit management. * Proven experience leveraging native enterprise-tier capabilities (high governor limits, developer sandboxes, Einstein features/ECI, advanced pipeline inspection) to consolidate tech stack bloat and avoid unnecessary external SaaS purchases. * Deep hands-on experience or rapid technical aptitude with Sweep for visual business logic modeling, automated routing, dependency tracking, and staging-to-production deployment, prioritizing centralized orchestration over fragmented native Flow sprawl. * Demonstrated experience working as an upstream recipient of data pipelines. Fluent in relational concepts to cleanly ingest and map product and financial data (Stripe, Sage) via webhooks, REST APIs, or middleware without breaking validation rules. * Proven track record of executing rip-and-replace, vendor consolidation, and cost-reduction projects across the revenue stack (e.g., migrating conversation intelligence from Gong to Fireflies, consolidating e-signature tools, swapping enrichment providers). Skilled at data archival, license optimization, and end-user cutover management. * Hands-on experience integrating Salesforce with Slack for automated commercial deal alerts, approval workflows, and rep notification channels; comfortable connecting data feeds across enrichment, marketing automation, and internal operational bots. * Advanced proficiency with SF Inspector, Data Loader, Workbench, and spreadsheet modeling (Google Sheets/Excel) for mass data remediation, deduplication, and historical audits. ## Description * Translate evolving commercial strategies, commercial workflows, and executive directives into scalable, rock-solid Salesforce architecture and automated flows. * Own end-to-end CRM architecture, designing, building, and maintaining custom objects, complex flows, and third-party integrations across the full customer lifecycle (acquisition, partner attribution, contracting, expansion, and renewals). * Partner closely with DataOps to ingest, model, and maintain data pipelines flowing into Salesforce from our core platform (Threecolts Hub) and financial systems (Sage, Stripe), ensuring object schemas and field mappings stay synchronized so commercial teams see reliable, real-time product usage and billing data. * Lead technical scoping, build, testing, and deployment for cross-functional initiatives across Sales, Account Management, Finance, and Operations. * Enforce operational hygiene, data validation rules, and system governance to ensure business logic remains reliable as the commercial model evolves. * Maintain system documentation, technical change logs, and deployment workflows so platform enhancements are predictable and transparent across engineering and operations. * Continuously audit our commercial tech stack, identifying cost-reduction opportunities and executing seamless vendor migrations without disrupting rep workflows. * Actively contribute to internal planning, team process design, and systems architecture roadmaps, identifying cross-functional bottlenecks and proposing scalable operational solutions that accelerate team execution and capability. ## Related Videos - [Beyond Webhooks: The Future of Scalable API Event Delivery](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/100312-beyond-webhooks-the-future-of-scalable-api-event-delivery) - [ Your Code Is the Sales Team Now](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/100327-your-code-is-the-sales-team-now) - [Building Enduring Infrastructure: Lessons from the First 12 Years of Stripe](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/516-building-enduring-infrastructure-lessons-from-the-first-12-years-of-stripe) - [Navigating Growth, Scaling Challenges, and Office Expansions with David Singleton, CTO at Stripe](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/100362-navigating-growth-scaling-challenges-and-office-expansions-with-david-singleton-cto-at-stripe) - [The Vonage Trivia Voyage: Quiz Your Way to the Top!](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/761-the-vonage-trivia-voyage-quiz-your-way-to-the-top) - [Building the Next Generation of Software](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/100186-building-the-next-generation-of-software) ## Related Articles - [Highest Paying Tech Companies for Developers](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/220-highest-paying-tech-companies-for-developers) - [How We Built a Worry-Free System That Runs for 10+ Years – And What We’d Do Again](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/751-how-we-built-a-worry-free-system-that-runs-for-10-years-and-what-we-d-do-again) - [What’s the Difference between a Junior, Mid, and Senior Developer?](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/238-what-s-the-difference-between-a-junior-mid-and-senior-developer) - [Dev Digest 120 - Apple and peers](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/455-dev-digest-120-apple-and-peers) - [Best US AI Conferences for CTOs in 2026: Build vs. Buy, Vendor Evaluation, and Peer Intelligence](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/736-best-us-ai-conferences-for-ctos-in-2026-build-vs-buy-vendor-evaluation-and-peer-intelligence) - [What Are The Top Skills Required For Azure Developers?](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/77-what-are-the-top-skills-required-for-azure-developers)
