## About the Role

* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field
 * 2-4 years of backend development experience, ideally in Java or Python
 * Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
 * Clear and confident communication skills
 * Ability to perform complex debugging and root-cause analysis in production environments
 * Application development using object-oriented or relational databases such as MongoDb or PostgreSQL
 * Ability to work independently, take ownership, and operate proactively in a fast-paced environment, * Experience in banking technology or financial services
 * Exposure to OTC derivatives or trade processing platforms
 * Familiarity with UNIX or Linux environments
 * Experience working with middleware and distributed systems

## Description

* Investigate production issues and perform detailed root-cause analysis
 * Propose and implement long-term fixes to improve platform stability, resilience, and supportability
 * Develop a strong technical and functional understanding of the applications and workflows within the derivatives processing estate
 * Work closely with business users to understand issues, requirements, and operational pain points
 * Partner with technology risk teams to ensure the platform continues to meet required standards and controls
 * Support incident management and follow-up remediation with development teams
 * Help improve operational efficiency and support the onboarding and UAT of new products and business initiatives
