## About the Role

* Strong GitOps and CI/CD engineering experience.
 * Deep understanding of GitHub Actions and modern software delivery practices.
 * Strong scripting and automation skills using Python, TypeScript and/or Terraform.
 * Experience working with infrastructure as code and cloud-native platforms.
 * Ability to communicate technical designs and influence senior stakeholders.
 * Comfortable working across engineering, security, architecture, and delivery teams.

Desirable

 * Experience within large enterprise or regulated environments.
 * Knowledge of IAM, identity, authentication, and access management concepts.
 * Experience using AI-assisted engineering tools such as Claude Code or GitHub Copilot.
 * Exposure to cloud platforms and Kubernetes-based environments.

## Description

We're seeking a Senior GitOps Platform Engineer to lead the design, implementation, and evolution of a modern GitOps capability within a large-scale enterprise environment.

This role is suited to a hands-on engineer who can own GitOps end-to-end, partnering with engineering teams, architects, security stakeholders, and programme leadership to drive automation, governance, and platform best practice., * Own and develop the GitOps strategy and operating model.

 * Design, build, and enhance CI/CD and platform automation capabilities.
 * Develop and maintain solutions using TypeScript, Python and Terraform.
 * Work closely with InfoSec and Enterprise Architecture teams to gain design approval and ensure compliance with standards.
 * Improve developer experience through automation, reusable patterns, and engineering best practices.
 * Contribute to platform standards, governance, and engineering roadmaps.
 * Support existing codebases whilst delivering new platform capabilities.
