Strong expertise in Snowflake architecture, performance optimization, security, and data modelling. 4. Advanced SQL development and database optimization skills. 5. Strong experience with dbt for data transformation, testing, deployment, and modelling. 6. Advanced Python programming skills for data engineering and automation. 7. Proven experience designing and implementing enterprise-scale ETL/ELT solutions. 8. Strong understanding of - Data Warehousing principles, Dimensional Modelling and Star Schema design, Data Architecture and Data Governance, Data Quality and Performance Optimization 9. Experience with Git-based source control and CI/CD deployment practices. 10. Proven experience within Banking or Financial Services organizations. Desired skills: 1. Control-M, AutoSys, or equivalent workload scheduling tools. 2. Microsoft BI technologies including SSIS, SSRS, and SSAS. 3. Power BI and enterprise reporting platforms. 4. Azure Data Services, Azure Data Factory, or similar cloud data technologies. 5. Experience delivering cloud migration and data modernization programs. 6. Knowledge of real-time or near real-time data processing architectures. 7. Exposure to Artificial Intelligence, Generative AI, or Machine Learning solutions. ## Description Data Engineering & Solution Delivery 1. Design, build, and maintain scalable data solutions on the Snowflake platform. 2. Develop and optimize ELT/ETL pipelines to support enterprise reporting, analytics, and regulatory requirements. 3. Design and implement dimensional, analytical, and operational data models. 4. Develop and maintain reusable transformation frameworks using dbt. 5. Build Python-based data processing, automation, and integration solutions. 6. Develop data ingestion processes from multiple internal and external source systems. 7. Support cloud migration and data platform modernization initiatives. 8. Contribute to solution architecture, engineering standards, and platform design decisions. Performance, Quality & Governance 1. Optimize Snowflake databases, workloads, and SQL queries to improve performance, scalability, and cost efficiency. 2. Implement data quality controls, reconciliation processes, and monitoring frameworks. 3. Troubleshoot complex production, performance, and data integrity issues. 4. Ensure solutions adhere to enterprise security, governance, and regulatory standards. 5. Support code reviews, testing, release management, and CI/CD delivery practices. 6. Maintain technical documentation and promote engineering best practices across the data platform. Stakeholder Engagement 1. Partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions. 2. Lead workshops, discovery sessions, and solution design discussions. 3.
