## About the Role

* Experience working with Oracle Fusion Financials
 * Functional exposure to modules such as General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Cash Management or Fixed Assets
 * A good understanding of Finance and accounting processes
 * Experience supporting Oracle Finance users in a BAU or project environment
 * Some experience of requirements gathering, configuration, testing or UAT
 * The ability to investigate issues and understand the underlying business process
 * Confidence working with Finance users and wider stakeholders
 * A proactive mindset and willingness to learn and take on more responsibility

## Description

I'm working with a complex organisation looking to strengthen its internal Finance Systems team with an Oracle professional who can work closely with Finance users, support the day-to-day platform and help deliver ongoing improvements across Oracle Fusion Financials.

This would suit someone with a strong grounding in Oracle Finance who enjoys understanding how Finance teams work, solving system issues and improving processes rather than focusing purely on technical development.

What you'll be doing

 * Support and improve functionality across Oracle Fusion Financials
 * Work closely with Finance users to understand requirements, issues and process pain points
 * Translate business requirements into practical system changes and enhancements
 * Support configuration, testing and implementation of new Oracle functionality
 * Help onboard new business areas and entities onto existing Fusion processes
 * Investigate functional issues and support users across the wider Oracle Finance estate
 * Support UAT, testing, documentation and release activity
 * Work alongside more senior Oracle specialists and external delivery partners on larger projects
 * Help improve Finance processes, reporting and user experience
 * Support training, knowledge sharing and adoption across the business
