## About the Role

* 5+ years experience in cloud, infrastructure or systems engineering
 * Strong hands-on Microsoft Azure experience across IaaS and PaaS
 * Commercial experience with Terraform, Bicep or another Infrastructure-as-Code technology
 * Experience creating and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
 * Strong networking, server, storage and virtualisation knowledge
 * Experience with cloud security, compliance and monitoring
 * Automation or scripting experience with PowerShell, Python or similar
 * Experience with containers, Azure Application Gateway, WAF, Load Balancers or Azure data services is advantageous
 * Azure and/or Terraform certifications or experience are beneficial

## Description

* Design, deploy and manage Azure IaaS and PaaS services
 * Build and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform, Bicep or similar
 * Develop CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure and application delivery
 * Improve automation and repeatability across deployments
 * Implement cloud governance, security controls and cost optimisation
 * Manage Azure identity, SSO and hybrid identity services
 * Monitor environments using Azure Monitor and Log Analytics
 * Support security and compliance requirements
 * Design and test backup and disaster recovery solutions
 * Troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues and lead root-cause analysis
