## About the Role

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Technology, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, or a related discipline.
 * 2+ years of experience in Software Factory, DevOps, CI/CD, or ALM environments.

Desirable Qualifications

 * Microsoft Azure Devops certification or other CI/CD environments

Skills and Experience:

Essential:

 * DevOps and CI/CD fundamentals.
 * Version control and software development processes.
 * Scripting and automation.
 * Troubleshooting and problem solving.
 * Team collaboration and communication.

Desirable:

 * Experience with Software Factory environments.
 * Model-Based Development exposure.
 * Cloud, container, or infrastructure automation experience.
 * Experience working with MoD and Defence Prime system integrators and suppliers preferably in aerospace.
 * Experience working transnationally.
 * Familiarity with system, data and technical architecture.
 * Architecture across the full system engineering lifecycle.
 * Effective communication and management of stakeholders including Product Owners, Delivery Managers, Engineers, IT team and end users to ensure all needs are considered and expectations are managed.

## Description

The ICT Engineer supports the implementation, operation, maintenance, and evolution of Software Factory platforms, development toolchains, and automation capabilities., Accountabilities include (but are not limited to):

 * Support software development, build, test, and deployment activities.
 * Configure and maintain Software Factory tools and environments.
 * Develop scripts and automation utilities.
 * Support platform integration and operational activities.
 * Troubleshoot technical issues and support end users.

Lifecycle Management

 * Support platform maintenance and upgrades.
 * Contribute to automation and continuous improvement initiatives.
 * Support deployment and release activities.

Governance

 * Ensure compliance with engineering standards and processes.
 * Maintain configuration and operational documentation.
 * Support audit and quality assurance activities.
