You will work at the interface of science, engineering, and mission operations, helping translate scientific objectives into flight-ready hardware and supporting projects from early definition through testing, launch preparation, and mission execution. Your Tasks * Support proposal activities as well as the preparation of programmatic and technical documentation * Translate scientific requirements into research instruments and facilities in close collaboration with scientific partners and space agencies * Contribute to multiple engineering aspects of the projects, including the development of electrical architectures and related subsystem designs * Perform requirements analysis, design, verification, and AIT (Assembly, Integration and Test) activities * Support manufacturing, assembly, and test campaigns, including hands-on work with spaceflight hardware * Contribute to mission support activities such as mission preparation, live operations support from the Ground Control Station, anomaly investigation and recovery, as well as post-processing of mission data * Depending on the mission profile and destination (e.g. sounding rockets, ISS, free-flyers, or future space stations), support launch site activities and participate in mission-style campaign operations, including travel as required
