* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
 * Extensive professional experience as a Data Architect, Solutions Architect, or in a similar senior data-focused role.
 * Demonstrated experience managing large, complex data projects or processes with a high degree of autonomy.
 * Advanced technical capabilities across data management and engineering, including data modeling, data warehousing, ETL/ELT design, cloud data platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP), database systems (SQL/NoSQL), system integration, and data governance.
 * Well-developed behavioral capabilities, including strategic thinking, effective stakeholder management, coaching and mentoring, and the ability to solve complex problems in dynamic environments.
 * Solid understanding of IT architecture principles, including frameworks such as TOGAF, to support the design and alignment of scalable and robust technology solutions.

The role is structured around three core areas: strategic data architecture design, technical governance and standards, and project leadership. This focus ensures the development of a robust and scalable data infrastructure, alignment with enterprise standards, and effective execution of data-centric initiatives during the reorganization. Given the focus on these areas, the ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in designing complex data solutions and a deep understanding of IT architecture principles. The role requires a recognized subject matter expert capable of managing large projects with limited oversight and mentoring other professionals.

How You'll Make an Impact

 * Develop and maintain the overall data architecture strategy, including scalable data models, integration patterns, data flows, and technology roadmaps.
 * Design architecture solutions for data warehouses, data lakes, and real-time data processing platforms that support business objectives.
 * Assess and recommend innovative data technologies and tools to enhance data capabilities within the Grid Technologies environment.
 * Establish and govern data architecture standards, policies, and best practices, ensuring compliance with security, regulatory, and enterprise requirements.
 * Lead the architecture of complex, large-scale data initiatives, translating business needs into robust technical solutions and ensuring seamless system integration.
 * Provide technical leadership and mentorship to data professionals, acting as a subject matter expert and fostering collaboration across business and IT stakeholders.
