The successful candidate will own service acceptance, go-live readiness and handover into support across major technology programmes, ensuring new and changed services are ready and supportable. Working within a maturing enterprise function in a regulated setting, the postholder leads transition activity across multiple projects, collaborating closely with programme managers and technical teams. Strong hands-on service transition experience is essential, alongside service management knowledge such as ITIL. The role: - Lead Service Transition across multiple projects and programmes. - Own service acceptance, go-live readiness and handover into support. - Work closely with Project/Programme Managers, IT Operations, suppliers and senior stakeholders. - Identify and manage transition risks, issues and dependencies. - Lead Go-Live Readiness and Acceptance into Service checkpoints. - Ensure documentation, knowledge transfer and support arrangements are in place. - Help improve and mature Service Transition processes and governance.
