## About the Role

* Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure
 * Experience supporting enterprise infrastructure environments
 * Knowledge of cloud security and governance best practices
 * Experience with infrastructure automation and scripting
 * Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
 * Good understanding of networking principles including DNS, VPNs and virtual networking
 * Experience supporting Windows and/or Linux server environments
 * Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
 * Experience with Azure Landing Zones, Infrastructure as Code, Fortinet technologies, PowerShell, Python or Bash scripting, Azure Monitor and cloud monitoring tools, or multi-site or international enterprise environments would be advantageous but is not essential

* Design and support Microsoft Azure cloud environments
 * Build highly available, scalable and secure infrastructure platforms
 * Implement Infrastructure as Code and automation solutions
 * Manage cloud networking, security, identity and access management
 * Monitor system performance, availability and reliability
 * Support disaster recovery, backup and business continuity planning
 * Drive security improvements and cloud governance initiatives
 * Optimise cloud spend and infrastructure performance
 * Produce technical documentation, standards and operational procedures
 * Collaborate with infrastructure, operations and security teams on strategic projects
