## About the Role

The ideal candidate will have worked in a similar IT role and will have the following skills:

 * Experience with Active Directory, Windows Server and Office 365.
 * Knowledge of SQL Server, MySQL and database management.
 * Understanding of network infrastructure, switches, firewalls and security principles.
 * Experience with VMware, virtual machines and backup solutions.
 * Knowledge of tools such as Jira, Confluence, SharePoint and GitHub.
 * Experience with software installation, hardware support and troubleshooting.
 * Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical issues clearly.
 * HNC/HND or Degree in IT, Software Development or a related discipline.

The Role of an IT Engineer -

 * Providing day-to-day IT support and system maintenance across the business.
 * Managing Active Directory, Windows and Ubuntu servers.
 * Supporting SQL Server and MySQL databases.
 * Maintaining VMware and vSphere virtual environments.
 * Supporting Microsoft Office 365 and Windows operating systems.
 * Installing, configuring and maintaining software, hardware and network devices.
 * Providing support for local and remote users.
 * Creating and maintaining technical documentation and system records.
