and services Build and integrate REST APIs Write clean, maintainable and well-tested code Work with databases and data-driven applications Support applications running within cloud environments Work with containerised applications using Docker Contribute to code reviews and technical discussions Work closely with engineering, product and other technical teams Help troubleshoot issues and improve application performance What We're Looking For You'll ideally have 1-3 years of commercial software development experience and a genuine interest in backend engineering. Experience across some of the following would be useful: Node.js and/or Python REST APIs and backend application development SQL or NoSQL databases Git and modern development workflows Docker Cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure or GCP Automated testing and good software engineering practices Exposure to Kubernetes, React, graph technologies or AI-related development would be useful, but none are essential.
