Preferred Qualifications: * Familiarity with IEEE, ANSI, NEMA, NEC, and utility design standards. ## Description We are seeking a highly motivated Sr Application Engineer to support the growth of our Utility, Generation, and Transmission market segments across North America. This is a high-impact, customer-facing engineering role for someone who enjoys solving complex technical challenges, influencing customer decisions, and developing differentiated Siemens solutions for critical power infrastructure projects. In this role, you will work with investor-owned utilities, independent power producers, EPC contractors, renewable developers, consulting engineers, and Siemens sales and business development teams to translate customer needs into technically sound, commercially competitive, and value-added solutions. You will help customers evaluate alternatives, modernize aging infrastructure, improve reliability, reduce lifecycle risk, and adopt next-generation Siemens digital solutions.
