Requirements - Hands-on experience designing and supporting enterprise networking environments with a strong focus on resiliency and availability. * Proficiency with Cisco networking technologies, including routers and related infrastructure components. * Experience managing firewall platforms such as Palo Alto and Cisco ASA in secure network environments. * Working knowledge of Border Gateway Protocol (BGP) and routing concepts used in complex connectivity designs. * Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot difficult connectivity issues across provider circuits, local infrastructure, and end-site hardware. * Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams, vendors, and project stakeholders. * Ability to stay composed during outages, shifting priorities, and time-sensitive incidents while maintaining accountability for results. * Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 15% of the time, sometimes on short notice. Visit roberthalf.gobenefits.net for more information. ## Description * Create, implement, and maintain connectivity solutions for corporate, residential, and specialty environments using technologies such as fiber, cable, cellular, and satellite services. * Develop resilient network architectures by establishing redundancy plans, failover approaches, and performance oversight to reduce service interruptions. * Diagnose and resolve advanced networking problems spanning carrier services, internal infrastructure, and on-site equipment. * Apply and uphold secure network standards across multiple properties to promote consistency, stability, and protection. * Serve as the primary IT connectivity resource for construction initiatives, guiding projects from early design review through final activation. * Work with construction managers, architects, electricians, and external providers to align low-voltage design, service demarcation, cabling pathways, and equipment requirements. * Evaluate technical drawings, vendor submittals, and site conditions to identify risks early and prevent implementation issues. * Coordinate launch readiness, oversee cutover activities, and transition completed environments into steady-state operations. * Travel to domestic and international locations as needed to support installations, troubleshooting, and project delivery.
