* Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field. - Advanced degree preferred.
 * 5 plus years of software engineering experience.
 * Strong experience building enterprise applications using Java and Spring Boot.
 * Strong knowledge of REST APIs and event-driven architecture.
 * Experience with Kafka, MQ or messaging technologies.
 * Experience with relational databases such as Oracle or DB2.
 * Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps practices.
 * Strong understanding of software architecture and design patterns.
 * Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

## Description

* Build modern cloud-native and event-driven services supporting critical banking capabilities.
 * Develop applications, REST APIs, backend services, and data integration components.
 * Modernize legacy capabilities into scalable microservices without impacting business continuity.
 * Work closely with Product Owners, Architects and SMEs to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
 * Participate in architecture discussions and technology selection.
 * Leverage AI-assisted software engineering tools to improve productivity and software quality.
 * Design highly available, resilient solutions capable of supporting 24x7 business operations.
 * Drive engineering best practices including DevSecOps, CI/CD, automated testing and observability.
 * Mentor junior engineers and contribute to knowledge sharing across global teams.
 * Collaborate with teams across the UK, US and India.
